    Chrissy,

They're a nice car but like most cars these days (French or otherwise) they can & will sit until a buyer comes along....very few sell quickly unless extremely rare, in demand & extra cheap so it's a game of patience; you waiting for the buyer & the buyer waiting for the right car and when they both get together, you've got a sale.
Could I suggest you e-mail a pic of the car to either greenblood or gibgib & they can attach it to your ad. This may be of some help; a picture says more than a 1000 words; or so they reckon.

    Alan S cheers!
If it ain't broke, use a 12" shifter.....that usually does the trick!!

I have seen and driven Chrissys car and it is quite sound. If the wife let me I would consider it as a daily driver.....
It has had alot of mechanical work done and is very neat under the bonnet (for a fuego that is) spanner . The body is pretty staight, the interior is tidy. The paint is sky blue in colour but is a little faded. It has old style aftermarket alloy wheels (14's I think). This car would make an ideal work car.

I don't know if I should say what chrissy brought to replace the fuego.............

    Chrissy,

At least you bought a car with a lion on the badge. It's a step in the direction of a Pug wink

Does it have a RWC and does the air-con work?

    Hi Derek,

The air con does work, but it was designed for European summers, not Auusie ones! That is, it is fine most of the time in Melbourne weather, but on a day like today (37 degrees) it would be struggling. As for the RWC, that is negotiable with the price. The car will easily pass a roadworthy, but if I agree to a really low price I will cancel the remaining reg and sell without to save me the hassle. If I am offered a reasonable price I will include RWC.

Default This car must sell this month!

My trusty Fuego must be sold this month otherwise she is being donated to a family member. If anyone is genuinely interested I will consider any offer over 2K.

    Hi Chrissy,

If you are going to be available this weekend, I might just come and have a look. What suburb?

Good luck Chrissy, I've been trying to sell mine for over a year now!
I too bought a Barina to replace it! But the lion badges have been removed and replace with Opel badges.
Sorry I know this does'nt help you sell your Fuego, but I had to get it off my chest.
I think I'm going to store mine for a while now and eventually give it the full ricer treatment.
    Cheers Renomad
