    http://www.autoweb.com.au/cms/usedca...7/vehicle.html

    Description: 1983 Renault 5 Turbo
    Price: $39,950
    Body Type: HATCHBACK
    Colour: White
    Transmission: 5 Speed Manual
    Odometer: 113,935
    Reg No: 365FYC
    VIN: VFI822000D0000888
Features: Power Steering, Wide Wheel Pack
Comments: "TARMAC TERROR", "POCKET ROCKET". These were phrases used to try to describe the excitment of the R5 Turbo on its release in 1980. Developed specifically as a rally car and then built in limited numbers for the road this must be one of the wildest cars conceived by a major motor manufacturer.
It is still tough and demanding. Heavy steering, clutch, gearchange. . Fantastic grip and roadholding. A truly involving drivers car.

This particular example was imported by us in 1993 and after 10 years in Qld it has just been traded on an Alpine A610. It is a superb example and is looking for a new owner. Are you brave!

I've sat in that car; I saw it at the last FCD in Brisbane, in fact I'm pretty sure I've got a few pics of it.

Looks good in the pics but even better in the flesh.

I wonder if he'll be bringing the one he traded it in on to the show this year?

If it ain't broke, use a 12" shifter.....that usually does the trick!!
