    Default F/S Peugeot 306 XR Fast Road/Track Day/Hill Climb/Motorkana Car

    Up for sale is a 1/95 Peugeot 306 XR 3 door, modified to be a competent fast road/hill climb/track day/motorkana car.

    This vehicle has been in the family for the past 5 years, initially as a daily driver/runabout, and has evolved slowly into the car you see now. It has had a lot of money, time and effort put into it, with the intention of using as the above, but unfortunately need to sell as have an expanding family.

    227,7XX km;

    Registered until 5/6/18;

    Has current QLD roadworthy certificate;

    5 seater, but converts to 2 seater in roughly 5 minutes (unclip rear lower seat bases, take out parcel shelf, unbolt seat backs, 4 bolts in total);

    Painted in Raptor liner, 2 pack, Holden Heron white, with grey roof, and rat look French flag on the bonnet;


    Stripped out interior with Autotecnica Race Comfort recliners;

    205 GTI 15 Speedline wheels with Bridgestone RE003 Potenzas x5.

    Too much to list, but the following upgrades/modifications have been done in the last few years:

    211,500km/July 2015:
    ​Full engine rebuild, slightly raised compression and mild port/polish;
    ​Match ported exhaust manifold;
    ​New AP clutch;
    ​New radiator;
    ​H/D shift linkages;
    ​Saas suede deep dish steering wheel with Speedway pad; and
    ​Sparco gearknob.

    211,900km/July 2015:
    ​Replaced all engine mounts, Superpro HD inserts in lower mount; and
    ​Replaced CV shaft assemblies.

    215,500km/October 2015:
    Fitted 205 GTi series 3 15 Speedline alloys, with new Bridgestone Potenza RE003 195/55R15 tyres.

    216,000km/November 2015:
    ​Front brake upgrade with 266mm RDA rotors, and larger Lucas calipers, Ferodo brake pads.

    218,800km/April 2016:
    ​Koni STR-T struts and shocks front and rear;
    ​AP Sport 40mm lowered front coil springs;
    ​New strut top mounts;
    ​Whiteline shortened poly front bump stops;
    ​Larger front sway bar with genuine Peugeot bushes;
    ​Powerflex front control arm bushes;
    GTI6 rear beam, (larger torsion bars and anti-roll bar) completely rebuilt with new half shafts, bearings, gaskets and seals; and
    ​Powerflex rear beam mount tensioning kit.

    September 2016>February 2017:
    Replaced all cooling hoses, heater core, plastic cooling outlets, etc, used Gates heat shrink band clamps;
    Removed complete A/C system;
    HEL braided brake hoses all around;
    New rear brake drums and wheel bearings (shoes and wheel cylinders previously replaced);
    Larger bore brake master cylinder;
    Penrite Dot 4 race brake fluid;
    DTM mirrors;
    Stripped out standard carpet, removed floor sound deadening, removed excess wiring from interior loom, removed stereo, etc, saved roughly 70kg;
    Custom converted front windows to manual wind;
    Fitted Autotechnica Race Comfort recliners to front with custom mounts to standard sliders (mod plated);
    Interior floor all painted grey;
    Lightweight floor carpet in foot wells; and
    Fitted quick shift.

    219,000km/June 2017:
    Replaced rear muffler with Proflow Aero Chamber muffler (previously fitted custom 2 mandrel bent exhaust, 200 cell hi-flow cat, straight through centre muffler);
    Wheel alignment; and
    Whiteline HD aluminium adjustable front sway bar links fitted.

    219,500km/June 2017:
    Paint job with Raptor liner, tinted Holden Heron white, with grey roof and grey door jambs (previous rat look French flag bonnet);
    Made spare mount in boot;
    Fullriver HC20 lightweight battery; and
    Osram upgraded headlight globes.

    224,600km/September 2017:
    ​Full service.

    Also has the following modifications/repairs:
    ​Custom cold air intake with pod filter and custom enclosed air box;
    ​Custom PCV catch can;
    ​Deleted rear wiper;
    ​Replaced timing belt/water pump;
    ​Custom front splitter/spoiler made from Alucobond;
    ​Tinted rear windows;
    ​Underbody stone guarded and semi-detailed (suspension, etc);
    ​New genuine Peugeot windscreen.

    This is a very unique, well built, legally modified, and still reliable vehicle, that handles like a dream, has a great flexible and torquey engine, that still likes to rev, and great for everyday duties or the weekend track day/hill climb/motorkana/fast road car. Great fun to drive to the shops, or on a twisty mountain road, just getting in it puts a smile on your face!!

    Always serviced with quality fluids and filters, all quality parts used in modifying.

    Also comes with a D6B (highest power 205 GTi) brand new Ajusa billet camshaft, imported from Spain, and an inlet manifold kit to convert to R1 or similar bike carbs, and some spare parts (radiator, steering rack, etc).

    Currently insured with Shannons for $10K agreed value.
