    Default 1977 504 5 speed for sale

This is my brother's car, he asked me to put an ad on here for him.

This is a good to very good car. It is only for sale because Hayden stumbled across another excellent 504 which he bought.

The car is very straight and clean with just a little rust that needs attention. Gunmetal grey paint. It has been fitted with a very sweet early 505 square port engine (believed to be rebuilt; no oil leaks from engine, gearbox or diff). 5 speed. Also has 1980 504 blue velour seats (VGC) and blue/black door trims. Near-new Michelin Certis tyres. Driving lights, reco'd heater (works very well), a few other new bits and pieces. Drives well.

Has been road-worthied twice in the last few years, few kays since. Unfortunately it will have to be sold as is because the rego has run out.

Starting at $2500. Seems like a fair bit for a car as is? But it's a good car.

Out of curiosity... BA7 or BA10? Big bore exhaust or small (bearing in mind the source of the engine...)? And where is the rust?

By the way, we can be contacted on 97361423, ask for John or Hayden... or 0427001803 (John) or 0427100469 (Hayden).

The gearbox is a BA10 I believe. Exhaust manifold is small bore... it did have a big bore but it has been swapped. There is rust below the number plate as usual... and a little in the left sill. The right hand sill has been repaired. No significant rust other than this. Just a spot here and there.
