Must have big cheque book if he is looking seriously at a G!
Still plenty of 10's around - reckon there is one in the club newsletter every other month - but G's are like hens teeth.
Those people that say I know - generally don't.

There all out there G's and standards, you just have to be patient.

Get in contact with the Reno Club in your area/city they may know of a couple lurking about.

Just as a matter of interest, what sort of $$ would one be looking at in Oz, if one found an R8G for sale?

In good to restored condition, $15-22K. But they turn up so infrequently that even a rough one may pull $9K. Supply and demand. Renophiles with $20K in their pockets to spend on a 35 year old car, are also in short supply.

    we know about that one

i don't know what the owner of it is going to be doing with it yet

there are also a couple of caravelles/ florides and an R4 or two and around 5-6 750's there you know

plus he has more somewhere else

    talk about a renault freak

there is an 18 or 19 in the wrecker just around the corner from there as well you know plus the wrecker that has that car either used to or still has a collection of renault bits that he may part with

he used to use renault mechanicals in speedway cars and has what i am lead to believe a few hot parts

he may be worth a try or a call if someone is interested in talking to him

I've heard of two in WA, but haven't seen either of them.

If you have all your fingers and two thumbs, that might be close to the answer I suspect.

    Default A R8 for sale

Pugrambo, there was what appeared to be an immaculate burgundy R8 for sale at the French car meet in Melbourne a little over a week ago. Like I said it appeared immaculate but I didnt get close enough to check it out. For some silly reason I took down the number 9878-5272. And now that I look at the number I realise that it is in my very own neighbourhood! If you want me to check it out just give me a bell.

Pugrambo - I'm interested in getting an R4 - is there any chance you might be able to see what this bloke's got, how much etc, if it's not too far out of your way?

Otherwise have you got his number and I'll give him a call?

    cheers
    Graham
