Default pug 505 for urgent sale

1981 pugeot 505 sedan (white manual) needs a new home. It is aparently a sooty! that is, it was the fouth 505 built at the pugeot plant in Hiedelberg Vic. Mechanically it is kind of half 504 and half 505 and it is an interesting piece of pug history. So i am reluctant to sell it to someone who might strip it for parts. It has a few dings and a bit of cosmetic rust but I recently had a new head put on and the engine rebuilt. I have owned it for the last nine years and have always intended restoring it, but I'm sure some pug nut would do a much better job and actually get done. Reasonably low klm's for a car of it's age and most of them have been country Klm's. Great set of brakes and good yokahama tyres. It has had the radiator re-cord and hoses replaced, although a new radiator would make a difference in summer peak hour! Rego runs out at the end of june 2004. It has the potential to be a really good everyday car it just needs an owner that needs it. Not a whole lot needed for a roadwothy just the usuals and a bit of cleaning up. Must sell soon so make an offer providing it isn't absurd! cheers

The car resides in Nth Melbourne

The odometer says 150,000 or something in that vicinity, except I know that It has at least a couple of thousand more because the odometer broke a few years ago and it took me a while to get it fixed. Anyway It hasn't got a huge number of k's but it is getting old. For someone who can spend the time fixing it up and who cares enough about pugs to bother I would be more than happy to part with it for upwards of $1000.00 - But then again I'd just be happy to part with it!
