It'll almost be a sister car to the one I recently bought. They are 'sedate' around town. But you couldn't go wrong if you want a reliable car for the 'mrs' to drive.

Cheap ?? Budget on 8 spheres to regass/replace, a cambelt & tensioners (possibly waterpump), tires, windscreen and probably getting the hatch repainted (the paint crazes on ALL xantia hatches when there about 7years old).

You'd need to look at it before you could label it 'cheap' (just like any car). It depends on how well it's been serviced.
