    Rare eight seat wagon in Verte Argente. Refurbished in 2008-9 with new paint and upholstery. 3-speed ZF auto. Mechanically strong. Tyres 80-90%. Drives well. No leaks. Unregistered but has Victorian Certificate of Roadworthiness if you're quick
    $5000 with a truckload of spares.

    Way to cheap.... Why don't you advertise it on ebay.com or ebay.com.uk and say your will to deliver to the docks in Melbourne. A good rust free CX wagon is a thing that no longer exists anywhere in the world!

    Thanks, Shane. I hope your comment inspired the fellow who just bought it!
    Perhaps you are right.
    There was no interest at $6000 but the car's need of a rear main engine oil seal probably scared the CX crowd off. Can't blame them.
    My wife berated me for not bumping the price back up to $6000 after doing the seals and the RWC but I while I had 2 other enquiries, only one person came, looked and bought.
    You are certainly right about the trend of English classic car lovers sourcing unrusted RHD cars from Australia and New Zealand.
