Default 2005 Renault Clio 182 Cup LE (Limited Edition) Blood Orange 63,900k's

1 of 15 LE (Limited Edition) Blood Orange Cup 182’s in Australia. 63,900k's with full service history. Absolutely stunning in every way, no modifications and no expense spared to maintain her and bring her up to immaculate condition.

I know of only two other LE's on the road at the moment. Suffice to say it’s a rare thing to find one on the market.

As far as I know the LE’s were the last of the brilliant 182 Cup’s, this example was delivered new to a Sydney Doctor in March of 2006. The second owner was a lady from Sydney, both owners used the car sparingly and serviced it regularly, as I have. As far as I know it’s been garaged or under a carport its entire life and has never been tracked or crashed.

I bought it at 53,000 km’s and over the last 12-18 months have lavished a lot of money (over $5000), time and love to bring it up to a standard I’m happy with. I’ve previously owned/restored a 3 time concourse winning Fiat Spider so I’m a bit pedantic.

The 53,000k service (approx $2750, using only genuine Renault parts) included:
    - Full new timing and accessory belt kit, including idler tensioner, pulley, harmonic balancer and water pump
    - All new brake discs and pads, including full brake flush and bleed
    - New engine and gearbox oil
    - All new filters, including oil, air, cabin and fuel
    - Reconditioning of the power steering pump
    - New LH inner driveshaft boot

A new steering wheel went on 12 months ago and the windscreen washers and hatch lock were fixed. More recently the headlights have been reconditioned and the HVAC control panel replaced - not because it was malfunctioning, just a little of the print had come off the buttons. I also took the car to a PDR specialist who performed some magic on 1 or 2 minor dents. The car was then cut and polished and new Grafico stripes went on.

The 10,000k (63,000k) service (using fully synthetic oil) and roadworthy certificate has just been completed, with only the need for a new indicator globe and tightening of a steering rack hose.

    I always use premium unleaded.

The wheels are immaculate (no scuffs whatsoever, a rare thing on 182 wheels) with near new (90-95% tread) Bridgestone Adrenalin Potenza RE002’s.

This car has been an absolute joy to own, by far the best car I’ve owned. The blood orange colour is just sensational, it compliments the 182 design so well, contrasting beautifully with the wheels and the stripes and changing subtly with the light.

The 182 Cups still offer incredible bang for your buck. I can’t think of any other car near this price bracket that combines such a pure and fun driving experience with such practicality. As such I think rare and pampered examples like this have the potential to become good long term investments.

This is my pride and joy, I’m selling with a very heavy heart due to ongoing house renovations. She comes with a roadworthy certificate and 7 months reg. All you have to do is get in and enjoy.

Car is located in Brunswick West, Melbourne, Victoria. Can assist with interstate transport…i.e drop off at a depot…and then cry all the way home :-(
